Is there a Black Travel movement?

I was reading an article on CNN's website
"Why the Black Travel movement has taken off" and wondered if there was such a thing as a Black Travel Movement.
Maybe there is in America, in Europe Black people have been travelling for years, if only to go back home and see their family.

Yes, most black people in Europe have been on an airplane, have experienced taking off and landing. For those who have not taken a plane, most black people in Europe have travelled and are travelling abroad on a regular basis, more than Black American I suppose.

However, I really could identify when the article got to  'Evita Robinson adds: "There is a sense of awareness that's heightened when [people of color] travel. How we may be perceived is different [from how other people are perceived].'

Any black person having travelled to South America, Asia, Eastern Europe, Russia knows that is the case. We are perceived differently than other non-black travellers.
Sometimes it is funny, some other times it's irritating and after a while it's a real pain.

She goes on saying "There is a sense of responsibility we walk with -- wanting to represent. I'm more conscious of my behavior when I travel." I'm not sure that people want to represent, they just want to be seen for themselves and left alone.

Serena Williams builds schools in Jamaica, Uganda, Kenya and Zimbabwe

Serena Williams built a new school in Jamaica. She posted photos and videos where she’s painting the school and getting her hands dirty while doing construction.

Her non-profit, the Serena Williams Fund partnered with Helping Hands Jamaica to build the Salt Marsh Primary School. The mission of her charity is to help “individuals or communities effected by senseless violence, and [ensure] equal access to education.”

A bogus faith healer who defrauded three women out of £145,000 has been jailed.
Abdoulie Gassama claimed to have "40 years' experience and guaranteed results", Birmingham Crown Court heard.
The 34-year-old, from Erdington, pleaded guilty to 18 charges of fraud and one of money laundering.
Following complaints to Trading Standards, Gassama was prosecuted and sentenced to seven and a half years in prison.
Gassama, of Slade Road, advertised his services under the pseudonyms Shaikh Jammal and Shaikh Riyad in several local and Asian newspapers, said Birmingham City Council.

He would meet clients at a flat in Handsworth where he would charge £20 for the initial session. Subsequently, he would ask for more money for special medicine, prayers and sacrificial animals including cows and crocodiles.
Fees would vary between £377 and £17,000, with Gassama charging one woman more than £134,000 over seven months with the promise her husband would give up drinking.
He told the woman her daughter would go blind and her husband would not give up alcohol if she refused to pay, the court heard.
Several women who responded to the adverts complained to Trading Standards between December 2014 and March 2015.
The head of Birmingham Trading Standards has praised the victims for helping to put him in jail.
